Oregon Department of Forestry has declared the West Oregon District is now in fire season. This comes a few weeks early but conditions this year make it necessary. All Starker Forests gates are closed. No camping, campfires or smoking allowed in Starker Forests. You are our eyes when you are in the forests. If you see smoke or something of concern, please contact the authorities.
2024 Fire Season Wraps
Oregon Department of Forestry has declared the West Oregon District fire season will end at noon, Oct. 21, 2024. Gates that will be open will be opened by Oct. 23.
