Starker Forests Recreation Update
9/16/14

Our forestlands are open to the public, with a free permit, for walk-in, horseback ride-in and bike-in use. Do not block any gate or road and smoking is not permitted.

Unless we receive significant* rain before October 4th, our gates will remain closed when the rifle deer season begins.

Significant rain means that we will receive over one inch of rain that “soaks in” over a period of at least a few days. Additionally, the rain event must be widespread over our forest ownership.

Starker Forests may choose to close lands to all recreation use at any time.

For updated information, check our website, www.starkerforests.com, Facebook or call our office 541-929-2477.
